I agree that it is time to break up with this guy. Whatever lies behind a guy being secretive, it is never good. If a guy doesn’t want to shout to the world that you’re his girl, then he’s the wrong guy.
I was in a relationship with a guy like this for about 4 years … it was even harder as it was a long distance for a great deal of time so proof of my own fears was hard to get at first … I made many excuses as we were from very different backgrounds and often pointed the finger at me as just being untrusting, after all he was the one pursuing me not the other way around and just simply not accepting to see the facts that were in front of me as he offhandedly dismissed the subject of why he hid me and his “in a relationship” status from so many … turned out he had his cake and was eating it and others cakes too (so I found out when his “other” girlfriend happened to call me and confronted the situation head on … if they cant shout to the world how happy they are to be with you then I dont think they dont deserve you without a damn solid gold reasonable explanation (I understand there are some circumstances that are not as straight forward as ppl like to think they should seem) . Whatever you chose to do … I hope you chose to respect yourself and chose to keep those who will respect you just the same to be in your life.
And to the guys …. keep smiling beautiful people … you do such an awesome job here!
